This morning was spent absorbing the morning sun in the streets of Buenos Aires while enjoying a coffee and croissants. The pastries in Argentina have exceeded my expectations: they’re served warm and are glazed yet still maintain their flaky layers and doughy centre. I managed a grand total of 6 today!

We had a midday flight to El Calafate, where our Patagonia adventure begins. After arriving at the hostel we explored the town with a dorm mate, enjoyed dinner out and watched the sun set over the town.
