Sadly, this will not be the most interesting post as it certainly was not a very interesting day.

We were both sick with stomach bugs and unable to leave the room. This meant we had to both cancel our Floating Islands of the Uros tour. While disappointed, the reality was that this would likely happen at some point in our travels and at least it was happening now when we had a room to ourselves and access to help if we needed it.

But still, it was a rubbish day, the kind of backpacker day when you miss home comforts the most: clean running water for one!
